The Little Biggar Band is a three-piece ceilidh band based in Biggar, in the Scottish Borders. Tom Grassie (flute, caller), Sarah Northcott (fiddle, caller) and Matt Smith (guitar) bring many years of experience on the ceilidh scene to getting folk dancing at every opportunity!
The band can expand for larger gigs, adding accordion and/or bass to become The Bigger Little Biggar Band...or is it The Elastic Little Biggar Band?
The band has played ceilidhs throughout Scotland and beyond. With a strong ceilidh pedigree (members play/have played with top ceilidh bands Tapsalteerie, The Robert Fish Band, Snap, Hud Yer Wheesht...), the band is available for weddings, birthday parties, conferences and celebrations of all kinds.
